The Challenge
Friends Provident offers a top quality leadership graduate programme for some of the best graduates in the market.
As the programme only looks for high calibre graduates with a strong balance between academic ability and life experience, particular recruitment challenges were presented.
Most notably, having such specific entry requirements meant that Friends Provident needed a way to filter down the unsuitable applications that undoubtedly come in - whilst still retaining enough information to gain a good insight into each suitable applicants’ abilities.
The Milkround Solution
Milkround were able to offer Friends Provident a fully comprehensive Pre-screener, ATS system and additional pages to work in partnership with their promotion website.
The pre- screening filtered out those applicants that didn’t fit the minimum requirements; while additional questions collected higher education and work experience information, personal profile information (rated 1-5) open-text competency data and equal opportunities information.
The full application form also gave Friends Provident the ability to correspond with their applicants, import and export application data to other applications; and build management reports.
The Result
593 graduates applied to Friends Provident via our form, out of which 400 were rejected at pre-screening stage, leaving a much more manageable 193 to handle. 10 of these were then short-listed for final interview. Out of these final 10 applicants, 7 applied directly via the Milkround Online advert that Friends Provident had on our site.
